Doodle Town by Dominika Lipniewska (Tate Publishing)

We are huge fans of drawing and doodling, and any book that features fun drawing prompts and doodle challenges is definitely a book we want to get to know better...
So "Doodle Town" by awesome artist Dominika Lipniewska has become something of an obsession with us over the last few weeks.

Meet the crazy characters of Doodle Town, and use your own artistic talents and skills to help them build the perfect living space.

Following the success of Dominika Lipniewska s eye-catching "100 Coloring Book", "Doodle Town" gives children the chance to truly let rip with their craziest creations, stunning buildings, fantastic vehicles and even a bit of surreptitious fashion design for the inhabitants of this thriving place.

There are over 60 drawing activities packed between the doodle-friendly covers of this awesome book. If your kids are ever stuck for something to draw, this is the perfect book to spur their creativity into a higher gear.

Of course, there's always the problem of daddy running off with the book at every opportunity to sneak in some fabulous #Inktober fun...

(I just couldn't resist drawing some crazy vehicles for the inhabitants of Doodle Town)
Awesome fun, loved it loads!

Charlotte's best bit: Drawing lots of crazy hairstyles and alternative fashions for the Doodle Town folk.

Daddy's favourite bit: Brilliant art prompts, fun and entertaining and I just couldn't resist pinching this at every opportunity to fill in the bits Charlotte hadn't already got to!
