Teeny Tiny Toady by Jill Esbaum and Keika Yamaguchi (Sterling Publishing)

It's not easy being the smallest sibling sometimes, but "Teeny Tiny Toad" proves that even the small can be brave...
"Teeny Tiny Toady" is the smallest little toad in her family. Toady always seems to be last in line for a juicy fly, sometimes her big brothers and sisters and cousins all push her around but her mummy loves her very much.

One day, mummy is kidnapped and ends up trapped in a bucket of water. Despite Teeny Tiny Toady's bravery, she just can't rescue mum from the bucket so enlists the help of all her brothers and sisters to come and help.

Alas, they too end up trapped leaving Teeny Tiny Toady all on her own. Can she use her brains instead of sheer brawn to rescue her family?

Beautifully written and illustrated, here's a book broadcasting a lovely loud positive message that being small doesn't mean that you can't put your other talents to good use. Hooray for Teeny Tiny Toady!
